G16.5 globe light bulbs are an interesting alternative to traditional bent tip flame and "torpedo" bulbs used in chandeliers. The candelabra base on the Bulbrite 461225 was developed for high end chandeliers to show crystals and precious metals at their best. The Krypton gas filled lamps create a brighter and crisper sparkling white light by eliminating much of the yellow spectrum that causes dullness of light.
