Rated 5 out of 5 by 13.5 Watt - Dimmable - LED Light Bulb - Omni-Directional A19 - 5000K Stark White I have installed almost a dozen these for various customers indoors and outdoors. January 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product! Provides a bright white light omnidirectional as described in the propotional materials. Works well in my outside lights attachd to my garage (protected inside glass lantern housing). Not affected by cold temperatures (so far down to 25 degrees). Have been using four of these for about 2 months so far. December 16, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Bulbs These bulbs aren't cheap - but they are well built, well packaged, give off great light, and don't get hot like traditional bulbs. I purchased these along with the inline dimmers that are recommended by 1000Bulbs, and these items work well together. Be advised that the dimmers don't take the light from 100 to 0% power. They dim down to about 10% power. The long life of these bulbs should offset the higher cost, and I have always been pleased with 1000Bulb's prompt shipping. October 25, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Light I re-lamped my car a year ago with LED lights, and I used 5000k bulbs. When I decided to replace the bulbs in my living room, dining room, and kitchen last month, I chose these 5000k bulbs. I couldn't be happier - I can see again, and have put away the reading glasses for another year or two. I'm so pleased with the lighting that I have an additional 20 of these bulbs on order - to do the remainder of the house. If I could only find 60w 5000k candelabra base bulbs I would be out of the incandescent and cfl market forever... September 30, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good light output, I like this LED lamp. The output is very good, and I think the claimed incandescant equivalency is accurate or close to accurate for this product. It's a little expensive compared to CFLs, but that will change as LED lamps gain popularity and manufacturing costs come down. I like the instant on at full brightness, and that this is 100% solid state, no broken glass or mercury to worry about if the lamp it's in gets knocked over by my cats. September 14, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Better than spec We have used this bulb to replace 75 and 100 watt incandescents in commercial applications with great success in both 4,100k and 5,000k. This is definitely brighter than the 60 watt it is supposed to replace. It exceeds the light level of a 75w and spreads the light well with the radial design of the LED's. June 18, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent incandescent replacement I had been looking for the past several years for a lomger life bulb that would fit in an exterior light fixture. What I found with equivalent lumen output either would not fit in the fixture or were too pricey. Though still not completely competative to incandescent bulbs over time with Nebraska's low electric rates it was close, its size is the same as the bulb it replaced, its light distribution is great, and the color is also great. Rated 4 out of 5 by Very nice bulbs but really too expensive to justify. I decided upon these Lighting Science Definity bulbs based upon their specs. They have the highest number of lumens (945) with the longest life (50,000 hours) of any LED bulb I could find. Unfortunately, they also had the highest price tag. I am very impressed with these bulbs. They are the nicest LEDs I have ever seen. They produce a little bright "circle" of light around the head which radiates in all directions. They have all of the advantages of LEDs, which is why I wanted them. Nevertheless, at $50.77 per bulb, you really have to want LED bulbs to justify the cost. December 13, 2011
