Outdoor lighting can be expensive if you want quality fixtures and low cost 12 volt wiring but the wiring can feed fixtures intended for AC mains as well. We live in Southern Arizona where Mexican style hand made tin lanterns are very traditional and appropriate for the area. They are suppllied with medium Edison base ceramic sockets and intended for AC use. So just suppply them with 12 volts and these great Bulbrite bulbs. We like them very much,we only have 16 of them hanging in our patio. For smaller spaces you can just use the 15 watt bulbs. I'll send some night time photos later.

Better than a typical RV bulb, but could be a little brighter for the amount of watts used.
