This tape light product can be cut at the 4" increments where noted on the tape light, but it cannot be reconnected at the cutting point.

These lights are great for under cabinet, curio shelves, and can be in-layed into wood very nicely using a router. They also have an adhesive backing. Sooo much easier to install under cabinets than rope light.
