With an overall length of just 2-7/16 inches and a diameter of 1-3/4 inches, CAPSYLITE PAR14 lamps are the smallest line voltage halogen PAR lamps on the market today. SYLVANIA developed these lamps to be a direct replacement for R14 incandescent reflector lamps in display cases and other locations where a very compact light source is required. The pure, white halogen light of CAPSYLITE PAR14s makes objects seem more vibrant and true to life and makes colors appear richer and more saturated.

Good but runs hot These bulbs are hard to find because of the small size. The halogens work better than the standard bulbs, particularly for reading. But note that these run hot, and you need to check to make sure they'll work in your fixture. June 7, 2011
