All LED floodlights look pretty much the same in the slick Internet ads. However, this is a quality brand with heavy-duty materials and a large transformer. In my personal observation, the manufacturer's 100 watt halogen equivalency rating is conservative. I replaced two 250 watt T3 quartz halogen floodlights with a pair of these 30 watt LED floods and I have more light than I had with the old halogens. The illumination at the limits or edges of the 120 degree beam width appears to be as bright as in the center-beam area. My old halogen floods faded a bit toward the edges. As a courtesy to neighbors, avoid mounting these powerful floodlights where they shine on a neighbor’s bedroom window or illuminate other undesired locations.
Our backyard is 90 ft. wide x 150 ft deep. These two 30 watt floodlights do a nice job of illuminating the entire 13,500 square feet fence-to-fence. I could not play tennis but we can see our black Labrador or an intruder at night anywhere including the extreme edges of the property.
There is a minor discrepancy in the rated hours. The website states 30,000 hours but the specifications and instructions sheet provided by the manufacturer stated 50,000 hours. Either way, that’s a good rating. With a two year warranty backed by this reputable supplier, there is little risk to the consumer. The product will probably pay for itself in energy savings within two years if replacing incandescent floods.
Crunching the numbers at 11 cents per kw-hr (Oklahoma) burning dusk-to-dawn or 4,320 hours per year would average about $1.20 per month or less than $15 per fixture per year in electrical power consumed. The two 250 watt halogens I replaced would cost $238 per year burning dusk-to-dawn at 11 cents per kw-hr.
Be advised the blue wire is neutral in the unlikely event the color code sticker gets lost during installation.

I've had these up for a little over 2 weeks and I love them. Installed 5 to cover a very dark backyard. The light is very pleasing, cool to be sure but not at all harsh, almost ethereal if you can believe it . I like these lights very much and I sure hope they last. They arrived with labels on the wires so the electrician was able to install them with little difficulty.

I put this on the front of my customers shop/garage with a photo cell and a motion detector, and they are very happy. I wasn't sure it would be bright enough but it lights up the entire 8+ car parking area very well; and at only 30 watts they will see a big power savings over the old mercury vapor that was taken out. Thank you so much for a great price on this superb quality light fixture. I'll be back for more.

This light is bright white and make your yard look great at night
I order a few of these and one was bad, they sent a tag for pick up and sent a new one in a couple of days . Great service made it very easy . Will definitely buy from this company again.
