Klus B4023ANODA

Klus Design's LED Profiles are an innovative way to create your own light fixtures with LED Tape Light. Klus B4023ANODA aluminum mounting channels are used to hold LED tape light and allow you to create your own custom LED low voltage lighting scheme. The 45 ALU channel profile is designed for surface mount applications. This profile sets the internal tape light to a 45-degree angle and is perfect for corners or edge lighting. The lighting angle is suitable for either a backdrop light or fore lighting and can be nestled into most grooves as a hidden lighting fixture. This makes the 45 ALU channel a beautiful choice for displays and cabinet lighting but doesn't rule out window, mirror, or rafter lighting either.

Other required components of the 45 - ALU LED profile can be found here.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Quality Product/Well Made/Not Effective for Undercabinet/Task Lighting I purchased a number of these 45 degree anodized aluminum channels for LED Tape light I was installing inside some glass fronted and under kitchen and bar cabinets. I had hoped that the 45 degree design coupled with a focusing diffuser would allow more precise focusing of the LED's and provide illumination toward the middle of my cabinets. While they are quite substantial and very well made, after experimenting with placement, I discovered the light emanating from the LED's was too obscured by the trough like design of these channels and the result was, in my estimation, a 25 to 30% reduction in illumination of the area. Additionally, the focusing diffusers were not a good selection for evenly lighting the interiors of my kitchen and bar cabinets or counterops. I returned them (beware restocking fees may apply) and opted for the simpler, lighter and cheaper flush troughs coupled with plain clear diffusers. Much happier with the results and cost savings. These might be a good choice for just accent lighting where a very narrow area is to be illuminated such as a curio cabinet etc but I suggest you experiment with your light source and be mindful of the type of illumination desired before purchasing.
