I have used the biaxial shingle tabs for years, and the two problems with them are that the tab unbends from the 90 degree position and won't go back in, and the tab often keeps the bulb from screwing into the base completely.
This one locks into the 90 degree position and grips the base not the bulb. I just got these today so time will tell if they continue to work as well as they do today, but I think they will.
