I had too many failures right out of the box. Also a mix of colors that didn't work.
The brightness was not as good as I had hoped and they are way too fragile for most applications.

Actually, it was a 20 watt that I bought, not 2 watt. Tired of halogen T3s burning out so quickly, thought I'd give this a try. A bit more bulky than the halogen, but it did fit. Light is a bit cooler than the halogen. Decided not to reinstall the clear glass that protects against shattered halogen lamps, as I didn't want to pose a heat problem for the LED, since they're sensitive to heat. So far so good.....

Bought one of these to replace the halogen bulb in a step light. Color is very good, close to the halogen in warmth. Housing remains cool to the touch after being on for hours, unlike the halogen was was hot.
