Producing 200 lumens, these clear T3 long-life xenon bulbs operate at 20 watts and 12 volts. They have a G4 base and xenon gas fill, which increases the life hours to 10,000, 15 percent more than halogen. Also, unlike halogen light bulbs, the glass envelope of xenon bulbs may be touched with bare hands for easy replacement. Xenon Bi-Pin bulbs are ideal for desk lamps, chandeliers, sign displays and downlights.

I purchased a 10-pack of these bulbs about 3 weeks or so ago, and I must say I am very impressed by and pleased with the performance of these tiny light bulbs. I never thought I would ever come across a xenon bulb this small that can last up to 10,000 apiece.
I do realize that buying a dimmable G4 LED bulb would be cost-effective, but currently their prices are a little much for just one bulb. Why spend $20 to buy a single LED bulb in this size category that lasts up to 30,000 hours per bulb, when you can get a 10-pack of these xenons that last up to 10,000 apiece for roughly the same price. And at 10,000 hours apiece, that totals out to roughly 12 years of use after the 10th bulb finally burns out - unless a catastrophic failure causes a bulb's span to come up short. Thankfully, my fixture that uses these bulbs is hooked up to a surge-protected outlet box.
I also realize that 1000bulbs offers a 10-pack of 10W version of this xenon bulb, which lasts up to 20,000 hours per bulb. That too is also a heck of a bargain, but I need more than 10W max to illuminate my counter top and microwave keypad.
Either way, until the LEDs come down to a more reasonable price, I'm still more than happy to make use of these bright and crisp xenon bulbs in my undercabinet light fixture. You all should do the same thing, too, if you have a light fixture like mine - seen at the right.

A big improvement over Halogen bulbs easier handling and longer life. Well worth the extra expense. The price for a 10 pack is excellent but the shipping is a bit steep for such a small package. If they would discount down the shipping cost it would make this a sure fire upgrade.
