Most Harbor Breeze Ceiling fans only take Candelabra base bulbs (4), with a maximum of 40 Watts allowed. Pretty dim if it's the main light in the room and you're using incandescent bulbs. These are only 14 watt with a 60 watt output. SOOOO much better and brighter. Purposely got these 4100K (white) for the brightness.

I guess I was hoping for them to be the size of my old CFL lights. These are a bit larger then my old CFL that looked just the same as far as the way they look but not the size. If you have a small place to put them on these may be too big or they will fit but make the chandelier look awkward. If you want to keep your chandelier looking nice you probably want to go with less power then these. I didn't think going just a little higher would make such a big difference.

I purchased these bulbs to install in my overhead ceiling fans. Each has four receptacles and I had been using the style of CFL that looks like a coiled spring. Ugly. I replaced all units with these decorator bulbs which are not only more effective but also great looking. This is a great choice for anyone looking to upgrade the appearance of lighting appliances where the bulb is exposed. Great product.
