Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice bulb, worked well in my outdoor lamps These bulbs are very large; so be careful of the application you use them in. Specifications are here on the website. They would not work for most indoor chandelier/sconce type applications due to their size. In the outdoor application I'm using them they look great. My post lamp and hanging front porch lamp each use 3 candleabre base bulbs. These bulbs put out great light and are using much less energy in these applications. Most important to me is that I don't have to change a bulb every month. I typically leave them on from about 7 PM till 8 AM and so far (1.5 months) all are still working well. February 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Bulb Much brighter than the previous 50 Watt R20. June 17, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by they throw a ton of light out these candelabra base bulbs throw a ton of light out and last for years and years. Most candelabra fixtures often say don't use more than 25 watt bulbs, these are 15 and throw out a ton of light. But I also have a special area to use them in that needs less bulk. I sectioned the glass housing off to reveal a really small cf spiral bulb. BUT LIKE THEY SAY DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME I REALLY KNOW WHAT I AM DOING. UNLESS YOU TAKE GREAT PRECAUTIO0NS BECAUSE THE COVERING IS GLASS. So be careful May 16, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by So far very pleased with these bulbs. I bought these to replace 60W ceiling fan bulbs that would never last more than about 90 days (even though the fan itself is never used). The lighting is great & hopefully the lamps themselves will deliver the expected long life. So far so good! March 25, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Acceptable, but not as good as expected I purchased 3 of these to use in a single lamp. 2 of them turn on with a pink hue, and they take several minutes to warm up, remaining rather dim until they do. They only seemed to work correctly the first few times, then developed these issues. I literally have the entire house lit with TCP brand CFs, and these are the only ones with issues, so it might just be this style. The ballast is tiny, so they do fit where other CFs won't. Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice, warm light. I bought these bulbs to replace the tungsten ones in a ceiling fan four-light fixture. I wanted to save electric but I also wanted the same warm light of tungsten. These bulbs do the job. The only criticism is that they take a few minutes to reach full brightness, as do most CFLs. Rated 4 out of 5 by Very Good CFL Very bright CFL Bulbs. Good color. Only drawback is a slight electrical hum. June 6, 2011
