excellent bulb excellent quality love the bulb great white/blue crisp clean light for using in my dermatology practice February 27, 2012
Good lighting for the energy consumption I bought several of these bulbs and also the 26-watt version to be mounted into ceiling canisters on a vaulted ceiling (vaults from 8' to 14' across my kitchen). The color of the light emitted from these bulbs is very white, without any of the blue cast common to the "daylight" bulbs. Coming from Halogens I'm slightly disappointed by the 82CRI--but mediocre color rendering is expected from CFL's and these are no different than most others in that respect. I do like these bulbs for kitchen use. They are too white for a room with 7-8' ceilings (a bedroom or office) as they emit too intense a light and can become cloying if they're too close above your head. But for high ceilings where the bulbs are only in the periphery they work well and produce a very even light. June 7, 2011
