We needed an LED that was closer to a 65 watt incandescent. This is the lowest level we could find in LED, so it was my only option. The color was similar when on full brightness. (not exact match, but close enough for LED's I've seen so far.# The main issue was not matching color as much as intensity. Most lights out there are so bright, and they put a different tone on everything than the incandescent they replace... In this case, we noticed a slightly whiter light than the incandescent, and slightly brighter than the 65 W it replaced. But it was all we could find. The main difference we notice when moving to LED BR floods is that they have different reflectance angle, much wider. Incandescent floods are narrower, and you have to be right under them to see the intensity of the light with your eye. These LED are wider angle, because the LEDs aren't placed deep in the base, so the beam angle is wider and you see more light from the side than traditional incandescent reflector type. #But I understand that is part of all LED tech at this time, oh well.)
I can't attest to wattage usage, etc. But the light is the only fair replacement I can find for lower wattage incandescent floods.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CAJMass Great combination of wide beam and warm light
Got this to try out LED floods, and have been disappointed with other products due to the narrow beam. This has a nice, wide, true flood beam. The light is nice and bright (I like it a little better than the 2400 K version). I don't have it in a dimmable socket, so I can't comment on those features. If it truly lasts 25000 hours, then it will be a great value, in decreasing the hassle of replacing.
