The first bulb went in and had to be replaced the next morning after a few hours usage. The second bulb is still working several weeks later. The third bulb went out after three days.The fourth bulb is still working after two weeks. Oh, and I know all about never touching the bulb during installation, so that isn't the issue.
I bought the halogen instead of xenon since it had a much higher lumen rating. I see no difference between it and the xenon bulbs I replaced.
I still have 26 bulbs left and I need to find out if 1000bulbs will take them back and refund their cost. I'll re-post after I see their response to an unhappy customer. I should mention that I've been very satisfied with all the other orders I've placed with this supplier over the past year, so this particular bulb seems to be the problem.
