With an initial lumen output of 160, this T3 single ended halogen lamp operates at 10 watts and 12 volts. It has a 2-pin G4 base, pins spaced 4 mm apart, and a life expectancy of 2,000 hours. This clear bulb is great for use in desk lamps as well as accent, display, and general lighting.

I had been buying these at stores (homedepot,lowes,walmart)paying $4-$6 for each bulb. These at 1000bulbs less than $1 and they are lasting longer you just have to purchase enough so shipping doesn't eat up what you saved on the good price. Will buy 30 more the next time I need some also fast and well protected delivery.

Unfortunately this bulb (as most bulbs) is made in China. Despite the advertised life span of the bulb, our experience is that the bulbs last an average of one month when used for only 6 hours per day every day.
Having said that, you get what you pay for and these are very cheap.

as always, the bulbs we received were better than expected. they perform as well and for as many/more hours as the stores high priced bulbs. we will continue to use this product and highly recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Endurance As incandescent halogen bulbs go, these are good ones.
These bulbs have all the flaws that you'd expect from halogen incandescents. They use a lot of power and run hotter than blazes. One of these days, I will find good LED bulbs to replace these. But until that day comes, these are cheap and have an excellent warm to pure white light.

I purchased a chandelier that required these bulbs. When they started burning out, I figured out how expensive it was to keep my chandelier lit and was going to sell it. I found 1000Bulbs.com where these bulbs were a fraction of the price compared to my local stores. I'm thrilled and will buy all of my lights from 1000Bulbs.com in the future!
