At once graceful, carefree and elegant, these 6091-12-44 Belmira chandeliers from Quorum International captures the spirit of the Vanderbilt's French Chateau revival mansion designed in 1980 by Richard Morris Hunt. Unique to the fixture are the glass shades which contribute to the impression of movement and work in subtle counterpoint to the continues rhythm and excitement of this magnificent piece of sculpture. The applied foliage decoration, in the form of inverted acanthus leaves, have been purposely given a golden finish, which was originally applied to prevent tarnishing, but will always be valued for its decorative enrichment.
