This Ushio 3000178 compact fluorescent lamp performs better in higher temperature applications making it ideal for use in enclosed fixtures and applications with excessive heat. Operating at 9 watts, USHIO's Amalgam TE CFL lamps achieve 85-90% light output while maintaining a temperature of 150 F. This lamp contains less than 1mg of mercury.
