We have been using these Ushio bulbs in our gallery lights since the gallery opened in 2007. They are simply excellent. We have found them to be long lasting and they give off a consistent glow, no flickering or dimming. We have found that dropping them is a bad idea though, they pop and it sounds like a gunshot. :) Great bulbs, I have no intention of switching brands.
