These are twice a bright as a normal 'night light' bulb and did the trick when used in C7 light string to add that little extra light around yard during an outdoor party. Since they do draw more power then a standard C7 christmas bulb, you do need to be careful to connect fewer sets together so don't blow fuse in the string. The only downside is they had a high burn out rate. We ordered 100 bulbs, and by end of evening we lost about 20 due to burning out within first 5 hours of use. I personally feel 1 in 5 failure rate within first 5 hours of use is too high.

I wanted to re-purpose some old Christmas lights strings as patio lighting, and these fit the bill perfectly. With a higher wattage than typical C7 bulbs the result puts out a nice amount of light, but still has the low-key look I wanted. My guests have been really impressed, and commented that it looks professional. Doing a complete bulb replacement this way brought the project budget way down compared to the new "decorator" type products at the big box retailers.
Overall the price was right, but there was a rather high initial failure rate - between the handful that broke in shipping and the handful that burned out immediately, I figure I lost about 10% of the 60 I ordered.

I own fast food restaurants and needed these bulbs for some equipment. My restaurant supply store wanted much more $ for these...more than double. I'm telling all my other franchisees about this bulb and company...PERFECT!!!!
