Epsilon Durable and took a beating.
I feel slightly silly writing a review for this item since I will never use it for its intended purpose, but I also suspect I put it through as much abuse in three days as it'd get on top of a lightpost for a year or five.
I used this for a costume. After cutting two holes in it with a hacksaw, it was still holding together nicely. Since the costume wasn't such that I could wear it continually, I carried it by the holes I cut - no cracks until the third day of doing this, and even then the cracks were where I had cut a sharp corner - a big no-no when it comes to cutting holes in acrylic, but I digress. The main point is that it took a beating and still held together.
If I had a streetlamp which needed a globe on it, I'd be comfortable and confident that this would work well and for a good long time - I suspect it would get less abuse fifteen feet in the air than it did when I was carrying it through a crowd of 19,000 people!
(note: you can't see the holes mentioned in the picture posted. They're in the neck for my head to go into and in back for ventilation.)
