Really cool retro bulb!
This bulb is great...kind of takes you back to the good old early days. The silvery amber coating really adds to the unique glow. Perfect as subtle accent lighting and also great as a night light to set a nice relaxing mood. Not very bright, but that's what makes it so pleasing to look at and the light so relaxing. Run it uncovered and play some old time radio podcast or some big band music for the ultimate effect!

What a cool bulb!
I love the old-timey look of this bulb! The carbon filament cast a beutifull glow modern bulbs just can't beat. This is a great chioce when the bulb itself is as beutifull as the lamp your putting it in. Excellent for antique chandilers with bare bulbs!

warm glow, antique styling
these look great in older fixtures and give off a pleasant warm glow.
this is not a bulb to read by, but more for ambient light.

Really Cool Bulb
I love this old fashion bulb. It looks amazing in my mason jar light fixture. And it gives a really nice warm orangey glow. If you want a bright white light, this bulb is definitely not the one.

A great find
I was searching on line for an antique light bulb and fell upon the 1000 bulbs web site. I placed my order and awaited my shipment. Unknown to me the item was on back order the way I found out was a representative called me to ask if I was ok with waiting a few extra days. I was impressed with the follow up and customer service.
The product itself is perfect, works very well and looks even better!
