This is still the brightest one of it's kind after investigating and investing in several different brands. While it does not always out last the competition, it most certainly puts off more light. After 6 hours they all diminish to a very low level of output anyway.

A dependable source of illumination for signaling, marking, or any number of low or no light situations.
Use as a trail marker or clip to your gear so to be seen at greater distances. To increase visible range tine to a lenght of string and rotate at length. This will greatly increase visibility.
Automotive uses include use as a flare or marker to divert traffic.
