We bought these for a chandalier in our office - we were trying to make an old/meets new feel and these really did it. Although they look antique they give the chandelier the "edge" we were going for.
One bulb arrived broken but it was replaced by 1000bulbs with no problems.

I absolutely *LOVE* the warm, smokey, golden color of these subtle vintage bulbs. They are perfect in our victorian fixtures. We have a number of these in outdoor fixtures in our garden as well as our porch lights and entry foyer. The vintage effect created by these bulbs is simply gorgeous!

used this in an antique hand made lantern, the filament in the bulb is really vintage looking and was perfect for the nostalgic affect I was looking for.

If you require an item that emits light, then this will work. Better to get more than one though, because otherwise it's like a nightlight.
