I like the color they give off. They are easy to hang from eaves and easily stretch to 4 foot spacing between bulbs.
I used the 5 watt CFL lights bought here and they provide great light and can be seen from a great distance. I would recommend this if you would like something special for the kids in your area to enjoy for Christmas. They remind me of a set of 6 inch 60 watt globes that my dad used when I was a kid, but will cost a lot less energy!
