Because it is made of UV resistant acrylic, it resists yellowing and cracking for a longer lifespan than plastic or glass alternatives. It will fit any light fixture or lamp post requiring an extruded neck with a 3.25 inch opening.

Purchased one of these for a custom made "North Pole Sign/Light" for my Christmas lighting display. A quality product (no noticable seams), price is very good, and shipping was simple and quick. Once I put a light inside the globe lit up with a consistent "glow." Would recommend this product to anybody.

Bought these globes to go onto external North Poles I am building for Christmas decorations. These are durable, allow the right amount of light to show. Definitely recommend.

Over a period of six months, I had given up trying to find a replacement globe for a much loved old light fixture over the card table in home bar area.

I used this type of bulb for a project I was working on at home. The bulb was inexpensive and looked great from the street. I saved a lot and managed to achieve the modern look I was looking for. Thanks 1000bulbs.com!
