This globe was just what you would expect from an acrylic globe intended to let light transmit through it. It does not appear to be cheaply made.

I had not found anything even closely priced to these and yet the quality is at least as good as others I have spent more on. Over six months in the Las Vegas sun and not even a slight deterioration.
