I am replaced 2 of my 8 25 watt vanity bulbs over the mirror in my bathroom as a test because my wife was concerned about the appearance of the bulb because they are smaller than a 25 watt incadescent and the light output. The light has good output and looks very attractive. I am buying the other 6.

I was hoping to replace incandescent 25W clear/globe vanity bulbs with this LED but it was just too dim and harsh. I think this bulb would be great for a "special effect" like illuminating a dark corner of a room, but it's not suitable for replacing bathroom vanity globes.
