These tubes look very nice and don't cost a lot. The CRI is high enough that when used for video applications the result is good (not amazing but very good). For just general lighting, they work well too. I replaced an old tungsten/halogen system with these, and the average person would not notice.
I haven't had them installed long enough to comment on the life/hours but they seem well constructed and I have had good experiences with other Philips lighting products.
