I AM IN THE PROCESS OF REPLACING ALL CFL'S AND HAVE FOUND THIS PRODUCT EXACTLY WHAT I WANT. THE 5K TEMP AND DIMMABLE FEATURE FITS MY NEEDS. IF THEY LAST 5 YEARS AS ADVERTISED THEY WILL PAY FOR THEMSELVES.

This bulb replaced a 100 W incandescent down-ward pointing reading and kitchen light, and, to our surprise, was apparently brighter than the 100. Reading was easier for our old eyes. However, on the dimmer the new bulb simply cut out below a certain level -- not ideal, but acceptable.

I have a glass shelving unit with colorful glassware. This light is very bright and really shows off the glass like no other light I'be used. It is perfect for what i wanted.
