Rated 4 out of 5 by Not quite incandescent colors This is an excellent light for energy efficiency on two fronts. Not only does the fixture use little energy for the light produced, the assembly also closes the gaping holes in most can lights. Installation of these was fairly straightforward, but required cutting the can light socket out and splicing in the LED lights. The new assembly is held in place by springy metal strips that push against the can walls. I installed these lights on a circuit with dimmer switch. They dim a bit, but always render light in the same color regardless of brightness. They seem a little brighter and bluer (hotter color temperature) than the incandescent 60 Watt bulbs they replaced.
