Rated 4 out of 5 by Penelope Great for the price
These lamps are great for the price. I wouldn't put them in any sort of reading lamps (color temp no good), but they work great for outdoor lighting and other places where color temp might not matter.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Flaroc01 Decent bulbs for the price
Color is a little whiter than I'm used too but not terrible. Disappointing that they're not dimmable. I should have checked first.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Messi excellent for multi-bulb fixtures
The lag between the time you flip the switch and you have light is much less than other bulbs, you barely notice if you have an incandescent in the same circuit, so you see these turn on about 1/3 second after the incandescent. They don't have too much output as a single bulb, and the light is not as warm as I expected but it is not blue by any means. This bulb is excellent for those fixtures such as ceiling fans or bathroom mirror fixtures that have three or more sockets, the combined output of three of these is very respectable for a bedroom or bathroom, and it gives the room a different, more intimate feeling as you are not lighting up the ceiling, only what is under the bulb due to the directional limitation it has. I love 'em and bought another box of these for my parent's house, one of them will go o a single bulb fixture in the bathroom that they never shut off at night.

Rated 4 out of 5 by RissaStar1 Great Value!
I bought these lamps because, let's face it, LEDs are great money-saving lights. I do enjoy these lamps, but these bulbs are of the cool white side rather than the warm white tone I was expecting. They still are of great quality!
If you are looking for an LED lamp that uses drastically less wattage/energy, and want to stray away from orangey lights - these bulbs are for you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Johnner Fantastic output for 3.5 watts
As long as you're willing to work within the limitaions of theses bulbs you'll love them.
1. The color temp is a bit cooler than advertised I think probably about 3000-3200K so not the best CRI
2. They are very directional so you need to choose your fixture wisely.
With that said these bulbs are fantastic and will really surprise you with what 3.5 watts can do. My porch light is in a down firing fixture and has been on 24/7 for four months now at a total cost for elecrtricity of about $1.00. I've put them just about eveywhere I want instant light and where I'm I'm not concerned with the somewhat low CRI. Very hard to go wrong for 3.99/ea

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jeffrey Great Deal & Value
This seems to be a very good deal considering the price if purchased in bulk to do larger conversions to avoid the high shipping costs.
The lights themselves are of good quality and the color is not harsh to the eye. They are silent and do not "hum". I have them in bathroom vanities, kitchen, and outdoors.
These are not the brightest lights but I am very impressed and think these bulbs are underrated. These are easily on par with 40 watt equivalents and would not consider them 25 watt bulbs. They may not light up an entire room but are good for bathrooms, hallways, closets, and outdoors.
In the kitchen were I have these the lights work well in their immediate area but the far corners of the kitchen appear darker. This may not be a good solution if you are looking to brighten up an entire room if it is larger.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jw54 THOUGHT i WOULD GIVE LED LIGHTING A TRY.
It's all about saving money on my electric bill. They are not as bright as i expected but I may have chosen the wrong bulbs.but work well for having lights on while watching TV or lights that are for night entry. I will get more of a different style.

Rated 3 out of 5 by tehnthdegree Excellent value, but average light quality
First of all, I think these lamps are an excellent value at their current prices; you'd be hard-pressed to find other LED lamps with similar light output in this price range.
However, I'd rate the quality of their light output as average for the following reasons:
- Color Temperature is cooler than I'd expect. I use a lot of other CFLs and LED lights, and these are definitely not in the 2700-3000K color temperature range. I'd place them more around 3500-4100K.
- Color rendering Index (CRI) is average... I have a lot of CFLs with CRIs in the 82-86 range, and they render colors noticeably better than these LEDs do. Empirically I'd say these LEDs have a CRI of 75-78.
- Directional... the design of these lamps means that they distribute light in a pretty stricly hemispherical pattern, meaning they don't look great in some fixtures, and are best suited for applications where you want most of the light to go out from the front of the lamp.
