by brunchboy Beautiful, smoothly dimmable, and cool
I bought these to replace some supposedly dimmable LED candelabra bulbs which turned out to flicker noticeably and irritatingly when dimmed, and these are so much better in every way. They give clear, steady, and attractive light at all brightness levels, and they are more attractive even when turned off. The styling of the refractive light element inside the bulb provides great visual interest, and complements my chandelier wonderfully. Although they are not quite as bright as incandescents, they use 1/6 the power and incomparably longer.

Just screwed 4 of them in our 2 story hallway chandelier and they look great! The color is just like an incandescent, the brightness is just slightly less than a 25 watt incandescent. The manufacturer put a piece of plastic inside the bulb that makes it look almost just like a filament in an incandescent bulb! I am very pleased with the price and appearance. I just hope they last a long time since the lamp is so difficult to get to. The only reason I didn't give it a 5/5 is I don't know how long they will last, and I don't dim them so I don't know how well that will work...

by JAVA Need LED compatible dimmer switch
20 bulb, 25w incandescent (500w total) to 3.1 LED equivalent (62w total) chandelier, "failed" the existing incandescent dimmer switch. Replaced with LED compatible dimmer switch (about $20). No flickering, no heat, no issues. (See picture)
NOTE: When screwing in LED bulbs, grip by the base only. I twisted off one of the lenses by accident (though a couple of spots of glue and it was as good as new).

Rated 4 out of 5 by DaveVZ Beautiful hue and light, 1 quality issue
Purchased two each of a candelabra base and medium base. So far no issue with medium base, but one of the candelabra bulbs started to work intermittently as if a connection inside was swinging open. I replaced it with another LED bulb.
Having noted this, the bulbs have a great hue. Hopefully, this is a "one-off".
I would still recommend these bulbs for their lighting quality.

These bulbs are not as bright as the incandescent bulbs I was replacing in my 10 bulb chandelier. They do not provide enough brightness for some applications, but since I normally use candles when dining in my dining room, they are fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kayakus51 I recommend them highly
I recently bought 6 of these LED torpedo 3W lights to replace similar torpedo 25W incandescent light bulbs distributed into two ceiling lamps on a hallway. Although these torpedo LEDs give slightly less light (about 5% or less light(?)), in all other respects they are a perfect replacement for their incandescent 25W counterparts. I must say, the color of the light emitted by these LEDs is a nearly perfect match thus nobody else has noticed that the light bulbs are not incandescent light bulbs.

This is a great bulb for 25w or 40w candelabra replacements with similar light output compared to incandescents. Compared to other LED candelabra bulbs (that have a strange column shaped reflector) I like the look of the spear tip reflector in these bulbs, especially when dimmed down. I have installed over 100 and they are being well received. Make sure you get an LED compatible dimmer to fix flickering at low power. This reflector tip is also available in a large clear G25 globe that looks great too.

I have these in an older chandelier. It takes 10 bulbs, so I'm burning 25 watts for a 250 equivalent in a standard bulb. What's better than that?
