brunchboy Beautiful, smoothly dimmable, and cool
I bought these to replace some supposedly dimmable LED candelabra bulbs which turned out to flicker noticeably and irritatingly when dimmed, and these are so much better in every way. They give clear, steady, and attractive light at all brightness levels, and they are more attractive even when turned off. The styling of the refractive light element inside the bulb provides great visual interest, and complements my chandelier wonderfully. Although they are not quite as bright as incandescents, they use 1/6 the power and incomparably longer.

Just screwed 4 of them in our 2 story hallway chandelier and they look great! The color is just like an incandescent, the brightness is just slightly less than a 25 watt incandescent. The manufacturer put a piece of plastic inside the bulb that makes it look almost just like a filament in an incandescent bulb! I am very pleased with the price and appearance. I just hope they last a long time since the lamp is so difficult to get to. The only reason I didn't give it a 5/5 is I don't know how long they will last, and I don't dim them so I don't know how well that will work...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mickey45 Bulb is fully dimmable and goes on instantly. Only complaint is same for CFL and other LEDs is that contact in socket is not good and may go out .
Great for dimmable control, but as with all CFLs and LEDs I tried (candelabra bases more often than medium bases) if too tight or loose after being on a while. Side contact in socket seem to have a hard time making good contact with bulbs bases.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Outlier The 15 Watt Equivalent Candelabra I've Been Searching For
I wanted a 15-watt equivalent LED bulb that looked good and put out a relatively warm color light to replace the candelabra bulbs in my outlook lanterns, all controlled by dusk-to-dawn timers. The Archipelago Lighting 3 watt CA10 seemed to fit the bill. I tested three, then ordered 16 more. The 2,700-degree Kelvin temperature makes them look almost like incandescent. Like most LED bulbs, the light seems to go up more than sideways or down. I addressed this by creating reflectors using aluminum foil in the fixture hats.

Rated 2 out of 5 by veggieperson Lamp flickered and color varied per lamp
I tried this lamp and other products from this manufacturer. All of the lamps either flickered or the color temp. was not consistent from lamp to lamp.

These are great bulbs for outdoor fixtures. Enough light but not too much. Not sure how they would work indoors but I would definitely recommend for outdoors.
