4 Watt - Dimmable LED - A17

Clear - 25 Watt Equal - 2700K Warm White - 240 Lumens - 120 Volt - Archipelago LA17C24027K1

This 4 watt A17 standard shape light bulb uses Archipelago's patented driver-free LED technology. Operating on AC (alternating current) instead of DC (direct current) the LEDs within this bulb require no driver to make a voltage conversion. This means the bulb's 50,000-hour life is not limited by the life of a driver! No driver also means the bulb is smaller than other LED light bulbs since a large aluminum heatsink is not needed. Use this wet location rated bulb to replace any 25 watt incandescent A-shape in decorative or standard lighting fixtures, indoors or outdoor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 4 out of 5 by great warm white color, filament is very bright This is one of the true warm white LED bulbs that is a 25 watt incandescent equivalent. This bulb gives off light in all directions due to the smaller heat sink and looks like an incandescent bulb. We purchased 4 and they've been very reliable so far. The only thing that is problematic is that the bulb is clear and the filament is extremely bright, so that it is uncomfortable to look at the bulb directly and it must be used in a fixture with a shade. If this bulb were made in a frosted version and in equivalents of 40 and 60 watts, we would use them in every fixture in our house. April 4, 2013
