The Nora Lighting NTS-714W white reflector trim has a cone surrounding the lamp that is smooth and shiny, not grooved like a baffle trim. The primary purpose of the smooth, shiny surface is to reflect more light down and out of the recessed fixture. Reflector trims are often used in commercial settings, sometimes residential settings, to maximize the amount of light (light punch) provided by the recessed light fixture. Black, clear, and gold finish are also available.
