Light your home with the TCP LED14DR5627K LED recessed downlight. Using only 14 watts, the module fits into standard 6-inch housings to replace a 85 watt incandescent light bulb. With smooth dimming from 100 percent to 1 percent and a 2700K color temperature, you'll hardly notice it's an LED light source. The downlight also exceeds all Energy Star performance requirements, offering energy savings of over 80 percent and a long life of 35,000 hours. The damp location rated LED14DR5627K even works well in covered outdoor recessed lights. Install this efficient light source in either retrofit or new construction applications by screwing the medium base adapter into in existing socket.

Note: See dimmer compatibility list for approved dimmers.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by easy to install, bright light Installed 8 of these in a recessed lighting retrofit. All 8 LED lights worked flawlessly under dimmer control and the light appears brighter than the 65W halogens they replaced. Energy savings and no more cold air blowing out of the open recessed fixture! March 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Replaced open can lights With the cold weather here in chicago, my motivation for replacing my CFL can lights with these wasn't so much power savings, but to close the openness of the ceiling which these do pretty well. They fill the old "standard sized" can space almost (they are about 1/2 inch smaller around the lip to cover all the old blemishes from the existing holes). They mostly cover the holes so the room is noticeably warmer now. These 85W replaced the 65W equivalent CFLs so it is brighter and there is no warm-up period. At the sub $30 price point, it was a no brainer. February 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great product for the money I have bought twelve of them for my new basement. First of all, the price is very good. Local retail stores sell similar product (other brands) for $29.99 or higher, but this one is $24.33 and slightly brighter (85W equivalent). Color and brightness are quite accurate compared to existing incandescent flood bulbs at home. Reliability??? Yes, but one of twelve lights did not dim right. I contacted the sale person I spoke with when I made a purchase and she was great! They sent me a new one without asking defective one to be returned. Hassle free! Design ??? Good overall, but the trim is not very good. It is quite small, so if you install it to 6 inch can, it is not very easy to hide all the rough edge of the drywall around the can unless you install it right in the middle carefully. Also, the finish of the trim is matte. It collects stain well and it is hard to clean. Our electrician left some finger prints when installing, but they were not easy to be cleaned completely. However, so far so good in terms of color temperature and brightness. I am very happy with them. The sales person told me that TCP is quite good commercial grade manufacturer and I pretty much agree. I may come back for update in six months or a year to see if they are still fresh! January 30, 2014
