Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Works as described This product was recommended to me by a friend who currently uses them in his kitchen. On the basis of that I purchased six units for our kitchen. I am happy with the results so far. Now comes the longevity part and I hope they continue to perform. March 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nothing currently close to this in performance or price I bought 40 of these for the cans in a high (18') ceiling. I knew I wanted LED bulbs, and was looking for something with high light output. This was the only bulb I found which put out the 1000 lumens per bulb that I had calculated that I needed. And the price ($15) was amazing. Maybe in a year or two that will be typical price, but right now this is an amazing deal. Color is reasonably warm (2700k seems about right), and the appearance is just like incandescents until the light is heavily dimmed. No flicker, hum, or startup issues with either of the Lutron EL dimmers that I tested. The bulbs look great, and grip well in the prongs of a 5" trim. I didn't check power consumption. All 40 bulbs worked perfectly out of the box. Time will tell if they have any reliability issues. So far (~2 months) so good. November 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bought 30 of them! Bought 30 of these and I've been thrilled with their performance. Only caveat is that we have not installed dimmer switches yet, so I can't comment on that aspect yet (eventually). Be forewarned, these are very bright. We have 6 recessed cans in a 21' x 14' dining room with 10' ceilings and they provide tons of light. Our kitchen only has 8' ceilings and the recessed cans are closer together and I think these are too bright. Might be OK with a dimmer, but I may try the 11 watt, 700 lumen Kobi dimmable LED's instead. I like the light quality and color as well. Despite saying 2700k, they do seem a little whiter than incandescents. But I actually prefer something closer to 3000k and these are perfect. Despite not being as yellowish as a 2700k incandescent, they do not seem harsh. Absolutely thrilled with them! September 29, 2013
