What are Combination Ultrasonic / PIR Motion Sensors?
Combination ultrasonic/PIR motion sensors are motion light switches that use both active and passive motion sensing technology to detect if a space is occupied or empty. These sensors are the least likely to cause false alarms since they only turn the lights on or off if both technologies are triggered, but only need one to keep the lights on. Choose from several different load types including LED, CFL, and incandescent. For sensors that are not sold with a matching wall plate, you can find them here.
