Smart LED Downlights

Smart LED downlights are available with tunable color temperature ranging from 2700 Kelvin to 6500 Kelvin or with a combination of tunable color temperature and RGB colors. Installing into 5 to 6 inch recessed cans, these retrofit downlights are popular choices for indoor and outdoor locations including living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and porches. Some smart LED downlights feature a high color rendering index (CRI), making colors appear brighter and more natural. Use these lights in clothing boutiques, jewelry stores, and other locations where color accuracy is important.

Smart LED Under Cabinet Lighting

Add adjustable task lighting to kitchens, desks, and worktops with smart LED under cabinet lighting. Featuring tunable color temperatures from 2700K to 6500K, these hard wire fixtures can be linked together for up to 360 Watts using the included linking cable. Fixtures with a high CRI should be used on display cases and shelves to help emphasize the colors of decor and merchandise.

How to LED Smart Fixtures Work?

Control hubs (also referred to as gateways or smart bridges) connect to your WiFi router, creating a mesh network that can be accessed by a compatible app on your phone. Requirements may vary between fixtures, so be sure to double check compatibility before purchasing. LED smart fixtures do require hard wire installation and are not compatible with dimmer switches. Any dimmer switches need to be replaced with regular light switches prior to installation.

LED smart fixtures may require the following devices in order to operate:

  • A WiFi network.
  • A control hub such as Amazon Echo Plus, Samsung SmartThings, Wink, Logitech, or Iris.
  • A smartphone or tablet with an downloaded hub compatible app.
  • An optional voice control hub such as Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa.
