T5 LED Tube Lights - Fluorescent Tube Replacements

Made to effectively replace linear fluorescent tubes, T5 LED tubes are an energy efficient alternative for linear fixtures, strip lights, shop lights, and troffers. LED tube lights not only operate on a fraction of the wattage, but also perform up to 50,000 hours. These T5 LEDs come in Kelvin temperatures ranging from 3000 Kelvin to 5000 Kelvin.

T5 LED tubes are available for plug-and-play, ballast bypass, or hybrid operation. Plug-and-play tubes operate with compatible ballasts and are installed quickly by simply removing the existing fluorescent and plugging in the LED tube. These tubes work with electronic, programmed start, or instant start ballasts, but it is best practice to verify the type of fluorescent ballast your fixture has and if the LED tube is compatible.

Ballast bypass tubes, also known as direct wire tubes, do not require ballasts and operate directly off the fixture's line voltage. The ballast is removed during installation, greatly reducing maintenance costs, and the fixture rewired depending on the tube's operation. Single-ended tubes only require power on one end and non-shunted sockets, while double-ended tubes need to be powered on both ends and can be use with either shunted or non-shunted sockets.

Hybrid tubes offer a mix of plug-and-play and ballast bypass operation. These lamps can be initially installed as plug-and-play lamps, requiring a compatible ballast in order to operate. Once the ballast reaches the end of its life, the hybrid tubes can then be reinstalled as ballast bypass.
