This shatter resistant PLT 40ARSTF A19 rough service light bulb has multiple support filaments to prevent premature burnout from the constant movement and vibration encountered in commercial and industrial applications. The silicone coating around the bulb provides added shatter containment. Operating at 40 watts, it has a medium (E26) base and an average life of 10,000 hours. When safety is a concern, shatter resistant light bulbs are the only option.

Note: When used on a 120 Volt line Lumen output will decrease by 20-30 percent.
