CRI – Why is it important? Color Rendering Index (CRI) is a quantitative measure of a light source’s ability to reveal true colors as compared to a natural light source. Natural light is measured at 100 CRI. Light sources with a high CRI (90 and above) render colors that are closer to natural light than standard CRI.
