Rated 5 out of 5 by Pete The bulbs really light up the room
The lighting situation I had was in a library at a church. I replaced 3 old fluorescent units that were extremely dim. The room is also used for many meetings and I havn't stop hearing how much the people using that appreciate the difference in light. The fact that they are truly dimmable plays a huge factor in their application as well.

Beautiful a product. One of the most even dimming lamps I've used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mardie from a very satisfied customer
We needed a bulb we could use with a dimmer. They are few and far between...
This brand is recommended for hotel use which made us feel that it is a safe bulb, unlike some others out there which can heat up...

Rated 4 out of 5 by ChristopherCFL Work as promised!
Just installed two of these bulbs with a Lutron CFL-compatible dimmer and they work great. Very pleasant light, and the dimming is near linear. 2700K works great for a living room / bedroom; it is warm enough to be comfortable for typing, reading, etc, but cool enough to give you bright light when you need it, especially at the high end of the dimming range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rich68 The TCP lamp is the best CFL dimmable lamp I have found.
On my work bench it was found that the lamp dimmed from 100% down to 2 or 3% as promised by the manufacturer. I found no other CFL that can do this. A total of 168 TCP lamps were installed in the sanctuary of a local church. The light level on the floor was more than doubled with 25% less power than was used with the existing incandesant lamps. After three weeks of operation, one lamp failure has occured and a second lamp will not dim without flashing. The lamps are powered from a ETC multi-channel dimmer (20 amp rated channels). Dimmer output module failures were experienced when circuits were loaded to 16 amps at full brightness. Suggest keeping dimmer loading to 50% of amp rating at full brightness. The dimmer output module failures appeared to be related to surge currents when lamps are switched on at full brightness.
