This is the perfect bulb for antique table lamps where you just want a warm glow to show off the lamp.

Loved the bulbs to replace lots of halogen lights. The lumens of the bulbs are very good as well.

Exactly what we were looking for. Fantastic pricing and they look perfect in our DIY Edison Chandelier. Not clear as they should be for an Edison, but the fixture was too low for those. Still... wonderful and they arrived in next to no time! Well done 1000Bulbs! Thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by rpivers Small bulbs but they burn cool.
My goal was to replace 21-25 watt globe style bulbs in three bathroom fixtures. While these led bulbs are much smaller than a globe, they do not look bad in the fixture I'm using. I'm getting at least the output of a 25 watt and probably more like a 40 watt globe for each. The best part is they are 4 watts and run cool to the touch. Price is lowest I could find.

When I had my home built 4 years ago, I installed all CFL's. Consistently my electric bill was $80-$110+. After installing these bulbs and the A17's my bill was only $67. That was after I had only swapped out 9 13 watt and 8 26 watt CFL's.
However if you are not used to the bright white you may not like them.

While this bulb consumes very little power its light is too white giving an otherwise cozy room a cold institutional glow.
I would only recommend these for hallways, bathrooms, garages and outdoor applications. There is something about the warm glow of an incandescent bulb that new technology cannot yet duplicate making living rooms, dens and bedrooms seem more like the rooms in an asylum.
