Install California compliant PAR30 short neck bulbs to save on energy and replacement costs while meeting the state’s requirements. California’s regulations for lighting include Title 20 and JA8 which cover fixtures and bulbs for residences and businesses.
Title 20 complaint bulbs must produce at least 68 Lumens per Watt and having a minimum rated life of 10,000 hours. JA8 products must have a high color rendering index (CRI) of 90 or more. Bulbs with high CRI make colors in a space appear brighter and more vivid. Look at the California Energy Commission’s website for more information about the state’s requirements.
California compliant PAR30 short neck bulbs are ideal for can lights and spotlight fixtures that are too small for PAR38 bulbs. Short neck bulbs are frequently used in track lighting because they are excellent for shallow fixtures.
