Functioning as both a CFL ballast and battery backup, the Iota I-462 emergency backup battery will run two fluorescent lights for up to 90 minutes at 1850 lumens in the event of power loss. This backup works in place of a regular ballast and is compatible with most 13- to 42-watt 4-pin compact lamps and 18- to 50-watt long compact fluorescent lamps. The Iota I-462 utilizes AC output for compatibility with low-mercury content amalgam lamps. This fixture is UL listed for damp locations and includes a test switch with an indicator accessory kit. All Iota ballasts come with a 5-year warranty. This ballast is not to be used with retrofit LED tubes.
