by brunchboy Beautiful, smoothly dimmable, and cool
I bought these to replace some supposedly dimmable LED candelabra bulbs which turned out to flicker noticeably and irritatingly when dimmed, and these are so much better in every way. They give clear, steady, and attractive light at all brightness levels, and they are more attractive even when turned off. The styling of the refractive light element inside the bulb provides great visual interest, and complements my chandelier wonderfully. Although they are not quite as bright as incandescents, they use 1/6 the power and incomparably longer.

Just screwed 4 of them in our 2 story hallway chandelier and they look great! The color is just like an incandescent, the brightness is just slightly less than a 25 watt incandescent. The manufacturer put a piece of plastic inside the bulb that makes it look almost just like a filament in an incandescent bulb! I am very pleased with the price and appearance. I just hope they last a long time since the lamp is so difficult to get to. The only reason I didn't give it a 5/5 is I don't know how long they will last, and I don't dim them so I don't know how well that will work...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jack54 Beautiful candelabra bulb, cool to touch, and effective color temp.
This candelabra bulb is well made, perfect proportions, and effective without the heat sink. It has a great look, warranty, and lifetime of use. We plan to use many interior applications with this bulb.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SoulerBob Best looking decorative bulb I have found
These are the best looking decorative candelabra bulbs I have found for our front porch lanterns. They replaced 40 watt bulbs with slightly less brightness but huge electricity savings. So far, I am very pleased with them, though I do not have experience with service life yet. They are expensive, but they will more than pay for themselves in electricity savings and bulb replacement costs, if they last as long as advertised. A similar used to be carried at Lowes but are no longer available there.

Rated 4 out of 5 by WestLED Works well, inexpensive, flickers
Many normal 120V A/C LED lights do not flicker at all, but according to the data on these, they use an A/C-driven circuit, which of course, creates a flicker. With the advertised longevity of these lights, you will have them a long time, so pick your color temperature well, and know whether you can live with the flicker. It's apparently a newer technology, so not as tried as older driver circuits, but we're happy, so far.
They dim, but we should probably get a new dimmer. We use them in a chandelier, and their light is adequate -- it lights up the ceiling more than directly to the table, but it's for dinner. And, of course, it uses WAY less juice, and less heat in the summer.

Bought these to replace bulbs in fixtures on porches. They provide good light and all seem to be working properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Obiwan Perfect replacement for 8 25-watt incandescent chandelier bulbs
These LED candelabra bulbs throw well-balanced light at very low operating cost. If all 8 bulbs are at full voltage, they use only 24.8 watts of input power, compared to 200 watts for the old bulbs at full power. And the LEDs are dimmable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Camp45 Not so long-lasting after all.
I have had three out of twelve fail at different times, due to them needing a better base attachment. Re-crimping the base, then using hi-temp epoxy, they went on awhile longer, until two of those three actually heated up so much that the glass envelope thermal cracked..I won't be buying any more of those..
