Strip Lights and Suspension Light Fixtures

LED Strip Light Fixtures

Looking for a brighter utility light or are you adding on to your garage? Consider investing in a strip light fixture for your lighting needs. LED strip lights are available in various lengths and configurations, and are suitable for suspension or surface mounting. They can be used in a wide variety of applications including warehouses, indoor storage facilities, and more.

Types of Strip Lighting Fixtures

1000Bulbs.com carries several types of commercial fixtures:

  • LED Strip Light Fixtures
  • LED Ready Strip Light Fixtures
  • LED Linear Suspension Lights
  • LED Bed Light Fixtures

LED Strip Light Fixtures

The most popular option are LED strip light fixtures. Used to replace old fluorescent fixtures, LED strip lights use integrated LEDs to eliminate the need for individual tube lights. Many of our LED strip fixtures are surface mount fixtures and are available in a cool white color temperature light, which helps to reduce eye strain. Some stark white options are available as well for use in areas where a stronger task light is needed. We also have color selectable LED strip light fixtures that allow you to choose the desired color temperature during installation.

Applications include using a 4-foot LED strip light fixture to illuminate a work bench or installing 8-foot fixtures in a row to cover the length of a room. You should always check to see if the LED strip light fixture you have picked out includes mounting accessories or not. We carry chain hangers if you need them.

LED Ready Strip Light Fixtures

LED ready strip light fixtures use direct wire LED tubes. They come in in 1, 2, and 4 lamp configurations. These T8 light fixtures do not come with bulbs. LED tubes can be purchased separately, allowing you to customize the lumen output (amount of light delivered) and color temperature that you desire to properly light your space.

When choosing an LED ready strip light fixture, make sure to pay close attention to the types of LED ballast bypass lamps it's compatible with. Some of our LED ready strip light fixtures are compatible with single-ended LED tubes only, others can only use double-ended LED tubes, and there are some that can use both. We recommend checking the spec sheets to verify what types of tubes are compatible.

LED Suspension Light Fixtures

LED suspension light fixtures deliver direct and indirect lighting and feature a sleek and sophisticated design. They are a popular choice for high-end retail locations, restaurants, office lighting, and other similar applications where a more modern look is desired.

Many of these selectable fixtures feature a dual switch that can adjust the color temperatures of the light the fixtures emit to 3000, 4000, or 5000 Kelvin. 3000K light is great for spaces where more earthy tones are present like reds, oranges and yellows are being used. 4000 Kelvin is a cooler color temperature that is ideal for task lighting in areas like kitchens, bathrooms, and any rooms that use colors like white, blue and green. 5000K color temperature lighting simulates the color temperature of a bright sunny day and is often used in offices to increase productivity.

LED Bed Light Fixtures

LED bed light fixtures are an efficient lighting solution for patient rooms in nursing homes, medical offices, assisted living homes, hospitals, and even residential homes. They easily surface mount to walls and are designed to mimic the look and stye of traditional fluorescent fixtures. Also delivering both direct and indirect light, these LED fixtures provide ample illumination without any glare and are operated with a pull chain.

Where Can I Use Strip Light Fixtures?

Our commercial fixtures have ratings that tell where they can be safely installed. Fixtures rated for dry locations should only be used are areas where no moisture is present. LED strip light fixtures rated for damp locations can be used in areas that may have moisture present in the air such as utility areas and stairwells. Wet location rated LED strip light fixtures can be used in areas where they will come into direct contact with water.
