LED Replacement Christmas Light Bulbs - Warm White
Welcome guests and holiday cheer to your home with warm white LED Christmas lights. Our Christmas light strings and replacement bulbs can be used indoors or outdoors, so they can be used practically anywhere. They are also incredibly reliable and should stay lit if one bulb fails, as long as the failed lamp remains in the socket. Just be sure to replace the failed bulb as soon as possible to avoid the remaining bulbs drawing too much power and increasing the failure rate. These replacements feature a faceted finish meaning the cap is cut in a prismatic or crystal-like pattern. This type of cap softens the light so it isn't as sharp but still maintains the rich color LEDs can provide. While not quite as warm as clear incandescent Christmas lights, warm white LED C7s and C9s are very close at around 3000 Kelvin. So, if you're looking for a traditional lighting design this Christmas and want to save on energy, these warm white LED replacement Christmas lights are the way to go.
C7 Christmas Lights vs. C9 Christmas Lights
The primary difference between C7 and C9 Christmas lights is the size of both the bulb and the base. The "C" represents the bulb's candle or conical shape and the number following represents the bulb's diameter is eighths of an inch. So, C9s are 9/8, 1.125 inches, wide with an intermediate E17 base, and C7s are 7/8, .875 inches, wide with a candelabra E12 base. When buying new string lights or replacing bulbs, be sure to match the bulb's base to the light string's socket.
Benefits of Switching to LED Christmas Lights
LEDs last longer and use less energy than incandescent lights. This, most importantly, helps you save money on the high energy costs that tend to occur during the holidays. The lower power consumption also means more Christmas lights can be connected together on a single circuit before maxing out the run. For example, a 25-foot incandescent light string has a maximum run of two strings. Switching out those incandescent Christmas lights with LED Christmas lights allow you to connect up to fourteen strings together, extending the run from 50 feet to 350 feet. When upgrading to LED, all bulbs in the run must be changed at the same time. Replacing the incandescents one by one as they fail will result in the LEDs overloading and will cause premature failure. Our LED C7 and C9 replacement bulbs are made of a shatter resistant plastic instead of glass like the incandescent bulbs, making them less prone to breakage in storage or during installation.
