The Soraa Vivid 2 00371 9.8-watt LED MR16 narrow flood light bulb is on the cutting edge of improvements in LED lighting. Operating at 120 volts, the Vivid 2 5000 line offers technology that is two years ahead of other LED MR16s, in part because it contains LEDs crafted from pure gallium nitride substrates or GaN on GaN. Soraa's GaN on GaN LED lineup offers superior color rendering and beam characteristics, as the GaN on GaN crystals are up to 1,000 times more precise than any other LED crystal. That technology offers you a perfect beam of light with minimal spill and crisp shadows and allows for the MR16 to be operated at higher temperatures than other LED MR16 bulbs. Offering rich saturated color rendering, this LED lamp is suitable for accent, architectural, hospitality, and recessed lighting.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Best Quality of Light in an MR16 This bulb puts out some of the best light I've seen from an MR16 bulb. Aside from the very high CRI rating the beam from this bulb is completely even. A lot of other brands of bulbs I've noticed a surrounding spill of a slightly different color. Basically other bulbs will have a corrected color bright spot in the middle with the dim spill part around it being another color. The only negative I've noticed with these is that the heat sink is half millimeter thicker in diameter than some incandescent bulbs. So it may not fit well into some fixtures. The fixture I had that it didn't fit well into has a glass plate and metal clip to keep the bulb in. This was one made by Hampton Bay. May 21, 2014
